The first computer I used was a Hewlett Packard 2000C main frame which I learned to program in basic on.

My First camera was an Argus c2. This same year I set a up dark room and learned how to develop my own pictures. Later that year music lessons on the venerable Farfisa compact.

The decwriter provided a massive speed upgrade to 300 baud.

My First editing gig Sony Rm-450 and Sony VO5800 & 5850 3/4 tape decks. Very easy to use cuts only editor used control track to index relative time code (in fact not time code at all). not frame accurate and occasional color shifts due to improper field sequencing.

My First Pentex 35mm over the next 5 years I bought 2 more Pentex cameras and various optics. They where very good basic professional cameras.
